Daikin India & Rechi Precision Form JV for Compressor Manufacturing in India

Global HVAC leader Daikin Industries Ltd, through its subsidiary Daikin Airconditioning India Pvt Ltd, and Taiwan-based compressor giant Rechi Precision Co. Ltd. have announced a joint venture to manufacture, design, and sell rotary compressors (inverter and non-inverter) in India and select overseas markets.

The partnership will leverage Rechi Precision’s advanced compressor technology alongside Daikin India’s expertise, aiming to offer localized, cost-effective, and reliable products. A manufacturing facility will be set up in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, with operations expected to commence by the fourth quarter of FY24–25.
